    • A week from today is my birthday. I try to connect and be creative. To inspire and be inspired. Many of you on here inspire me every day and I am in awe of what is going on here. Someone that has been a huge inspiration in my life is this child. Thelma has AIDS and is an orphan in Mozambique. Her and other children are being taken care of at AllNationsMozambique, an Orphanage ran by Pieter and Rika Boersma. I had the privilege to visit them during the summer of 08 and my life has never been the same. I thought I was going to help but really, those children and that family helped me. I don't want to seem like I am trying to preach or beg for money, but I would love to take the chance to remember my birthday by giving back to those who showed me what true unconditional love was. If you would like to help me raise $1000 for AllNationsMozambique, have questions, or simply just want to share or like please do.     • I have had this poem on my wall more than half my life. Given to me by one of my role models in my soccer coach growing up. The picture was shot when I was in Rwanda.

    • It's time to move. | photo manipulation painting of the lovely @krisssssten . Had a lot of fun making this! Kristen asked me if I would mess with some beautiful pictures she took and I immediately knew what I wanted to do when I saw them. I used three separate pictures of her laying down and used her hair as a silhouette. I then wanted created different layers with lighten as the blending mode and then painted wings and added different elements to signify what she is going through. She shared how she was excited about moving and sent me these pictures after she landed. I thought that it would be cool to show different emotions in her journey and use the birds to show movement and change. It's late I'm going to bed.
